🖋️ Writing Update: When the Words Won’t Let You Walk Away

Every once in a while, a story grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go.

That’s exactly where I am right now—with a brand new fantasy novel that seems to be writing itself. I sat down just to play with an idea, and now suddenly I’m knee-deep in magic, secrets, and characters that feel like they’ve been waiting for me to find them.

And I don’t want to stop. Not even for a second.

✨ The Spark Became a Wildfire

It started with a whisper of an idea—a girl, a necklace, a world she doesn’t understand—and now it’s become a full-blown adventure I can’t step away from. Plot twists are revealing themselves mid-sentence. Worldbuilding details are layering together without effort. Characters are arguing with me (and each other), and I am living for it.

This is the kind of story that wakes me up at 3 a.m.

The kind that makes me ignore texts.

The kind that makes “just one more scene” turn into five hours.

I’m not sharing too many details yet (still letting it simmer and take shape), but here’s a little tease:

I’m drafting fast—probably faster than I should—but I’m not ready to slow down. Not yet. I’m following this momentum wherever it leads, and I have a feeling it’s somewhere special.
