Back From the Dead (and Slightly Frantic): My Website Is Live Again 🖤

All I planned for today was something simple.

Check on my website. Maybe get some writing done. A calm, productive kind of day.

That did not happen.

My site was supposed to auto-renew back in February, but the card on file had expired. The renewal emails? Apparently they were living their best life in spam where I never saw them. And because the site stayed inactive too long… it got deleted.

Just like that.

Crap.

I needed that site.

So I did what any completely rational, emotionally stable, definitely-not-panicking person would do:

I rebuilt it.

Thankfully, my blog posts were still there (honestly, I’m calling that a win), but everything else had to be recreated from scratch. Pages, structure, formatting, books, layouts—the whole thing.

I spent a lot of today putting it back together. It’s still absolutely a work in progress, and there’s still a lot I want to tweak and improve, but it’s something.

And the important part is this:

morganryliebooks.com is back online.

It feels really good to say that again.
